What is the MT5 EA Strategy Library?

It is a directory of 18+ Expert Advisor tutorials for MetaTrader 5. Most build fully no-code in AlfaTactix Strategy Builder and export MQL5 without writing code by hand. A few (SuperTrend, ADX, Parabolic SAR, Ichimoku, Donchian, the news filter) cover indicators or filters the Strategy Builder does not support yet — those tutorials give you the manual MQL5 path plus the closest no-code alternative instead.

Do I need to know MQL5 to use these strategies?

Not for the strategies built from the 13 supported indicators and the four real market filters (session, time range, ATR volatility, liquidity): open the Strategy Builder demo, follow the playbook, save, and export MQL5 from the Code Generator. The handful of tutorials covering unsupported indicators (see the previous answer) require some hand-written MQL5 for the exact indicator, though each links to a no-code alternative you can build today.

How is this different from the full MQL5 EA Academy?

Can I backtest these EAs in MetaTrader 5?
